Nicola joined FARMEYE in September 2021. Her role at FARMEYE includes Administration, Accounts and HR. Nicola graduated from the National College of Ireland with a BA in Human Resource Management and has over 20 years’ experience in both multinational corporations and SME’s.

Logistics Manager at FARMEYE, Gearóid has co-ordinated the collection and delivery of over 41,000 samples on the DAFM project with a 100% success rate. He has a background in temperature controlled transport with extensive experience in logistics roles both in Ireland and the USA. Gearóid has also worked in various roles for both Pontiac and Mercedes Benz for over a decade in the automotive sector. Diploma in Transport Management, FAA Flight Engineer & CPL, B.Sc. Sports Science.

MSc. in Artificial Intelligence (NUIG), MSc. in Computer Science (UCD), MA. in International Relations (University of Manchester) and a BA. in International Relations (DCU). Darragh is our multidisciplinary Data Scientist with prior experience with the United Nations and NGOs in Ethiopia, Liberia, Uganda and USA.

Liam holds a bachelor’s degree (honours) in Computer games development at Carlow IT. Since his studies he has attained two years industry express experience as a software engineer specialising in web application development in both start up environments and within environments at companies beyond the initial start up phase.

Ricard joined FARMEYE in August 2023 as a Software Developer. He previously has 2 years of experience working as a Software Developer and is expected to graduate from University of Limerick with Msc in Software Engineering.

Based in London, Kevin is FARMEYE’s UK Country Manager. Kevin has a bachelor degree in commerce from UCC and has experience in new market entry and commercial strategy from working with Enteprise Ireland, the Irish government body for trade and innovation, where he supported Irish enterprises across the agrifood space to grow and scale in the UK market.

Jackie joined FARMEYE in August 2023 delivering payroll and accounts administration. She qualified as a bookkeeper in the UK in 2007 and has over 20 years’ accounting experience across the private and public sectors in both the UK and Ireland.

Saidhbh holds a BSc (Honours) in Agriculture and Environmental Management from GMIT. She joins the FARMEYE team with a background in agricultural education, where she taught topics including sustainable farming, the environment and biodiversity. Beef farming background.

Joined the FARMEYE team full time after completing college placement with FARMEYE. Has been working part time with FARMEYE since January 2022. BAgrSc in Food and Agribusiness Management 2023 (UCD). Beef, Sheep and Tillage farmer.

Patrick is a software developer with 6 years of experience. He has worked in a number of industries including banking, telecom and smart home backend systems. He received his BSc. (Hons) in Commercial Computing and BSc. Software Development In Computing. Patrick specialises in developing back-end systems with a focus on Java.

Anand is a Principal Software Engineer with 12 years of Full Stack Software development experience in various domains such as retail, banking, telecoms, and petroleum. He has a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

MSc in Climate Change & Environmental Policy (University of Leeds) and BSc in Earth & Environmental Sciences (University of Michigan). Jess is our R&D Project Manager fostering in-house innovation with experience in meteorology, climatology, geospatial analysis and remote sensing. In her professional career, she has collaborated with national (DAFM-IRL, NPWS-IRL, USDA-USA, NOAA-USA, JTWC-JPN) and international (NASA, ESA) organisations exploring agricultural risks and land analysis.

Her research focuses on soil carbon and its importance in agronomy and climate change mitigation. Following a degree in Agricultural Science (2004) at UCD, she went on to study soil-manure-water interactions and devised strategies for reducing nutrient loss from dairy farms for her PhD (2009) at the Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute, Northern Ireland and Queen’s University Belfast. As a postdoctoral researcher at UCD (2009-2011) she focused on optical sensing of soils. She lectured in Abiotic Resources (Air, Soil, Water) at UCD (2012) before pursuing her work on the application of digital technologies to soils for physical, chemical and geochemical characterisation with a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship at The University of Sydney (2013-2015). Her current work on soil carbon is funded by an Irish Research Council Starting Laureate Award.

She has 24 years of experience in both execution and management of sustainable land use research. Saskia works on multidisciplinary research topics like Circular agriculture, Sustainable Food Production, Climate Smart Land Management and Land Use optimization. Saskia is responsible for actively orchestrating the application of the Deep Demonstrations methodology in national regional contexts to achieve decarbonisation, climate adaptation and regeneration of (agri)biodiversity. In her work Saskia builds partnerships that jointly seek for circular and climate neutral solutions that contribute to the realization of the SGDs. She builds and holds senior stakeholder relationships over time while convening, connecting, and facilitating actions on the ground, working with and through innovation partners, local teams, community members and key stakeholders.

In her part-time position at Wageningen Research, Saskia is the co-coordinator of the European Joint Program on Agricultural Soils under Climate Change. In that role Saskia facilitates the development of a Europe wide network of Soil researchers, supports strategic partnerships of EJP SOIL with both European and worldwide initiatives.
